Robinson High School has built one of the most dominant dynasties in high school sports.

The Tampa program is chasing its 10th consecutive Florida girls flag football state championship and its 11th overall title in 13 years. In a sport that continues to grow nationally, Robinson remains one of the standard-setting programs.
Sustained dominance like this does not happen by accident. It takes coaching, player development, program culture and year-to-year buy-in from athletes. Robinson has managed to reload season after season while continuing to perform when the spotlight is brightest.
The Knights have become a model program for girls flag football. As more states sanction the sport and more schools add teams, Robinson’s success shows what a fully developed high school flag football program can become.
Florida has long been one of the strongest states for girls flag football. The state’s competitive structure and depth of talent have helped produce elite teams and athletes. Robinson’s run sits at the top of that landscape.
This season, the pressure is once again high. Every opponent wants to be the team that ends the streak. But Robinson’s experience in championship moments gives the Knights a major advantage. Whether the Knights finish the job or not, their run is already one of the great stories in modern high school athletics.
